Cabbage Fry


This simple and delicious recipe is ready in minutes. it can be served with roti or as side dish.

Nutrition Value of Cabbage

- 1/2 head cabbage Shredded
- 2-3 tablespoons oil
- 2 pinch asafoetida (hing)
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 - 1 cups green peas ( optional )

1. Heat oil, add asafoetida, cumin, fennel and let crack
2. Add, turmeric, coriander powder, red chili powder, garam masala
3. Stir , add cabbage and peas
4. Mix well so the cabbage is coated evenly with spices
5. Add salt and cook on medium high heat for 5-7 minutes
